More positions, more gut calls

Price moves are easy to see. What's hard is telling "still trending, keep holding" from "overweight, time to trim." Trend and allocation blur together — and the call ends up on instinct.

Separate trend from allocation

Position Radar is an after-hours position monitor. It reads each holding's trend against its 20-day moving average, checks it against your target allocation, and sorts it into one clear state — Healthy, Watch, Alert, Elevated Risk, or Aligned. Anything well above your target allocation is flagged separately.

It describes where your positions stand — not what to buy or sell.

Position Radar is an after-hours position analytics tool. It reads holdings you enter yourself and computes derived trend and allocation indicators. It does not execute trades, does not handle funds, does not provide buy or sell recommendations, and does not display raw market quotes.

The screen shows holdings entered by the user and system-computed status categories. No live quotes, no order placement.

Getting started

Install it as an app (recommended, but the browser works too)

  • iPhone (Safari): Open this page in Safari → tap the Share button (square with an up arrow) → scroll to "Add to Home Screen" → done. A Position Radar icon appears on your home screen, just like a regular app. (If you opened this from Instagram or a message and can't find the Share button, tap "Open in Safari" first.)
  • Android (Chrome): Open the URL in Chrome → tap the menu (three dots, top right) → "Add to Home screen" / "Install app" → done.

Installed, it runs full-screen and opens faster. Prefer not to install? It works the same in the browser.

Add your holdings

For each position, enter four things: ticker, shares, average cost, and target allocation (the % of your portfolio you want it to be). The app uses these to sort each holding into a clear state.

Check it after market close

After the US market closes, the app updates and sorts each holding into a clear state — what to watch, what to leave alone. Tap any category in the app for an explanation of what it means.

No updates on weekends or holidays: When the US market is closed, the numbers stay put. Opening it over the weekend shows Friday's close; the next update comes after the next trading day (around Tuesday morning Taipei time). This is normal, not a freeze.

New holdings need a day or two to warm up: A freshly added stock needs time to backfill historical data before it can compute the 20-day moving average and a state. During that window it shows "No price data / pending update" — this is normal, not a bug. If you hold many positions, add them over a few days (3–5 per day) for a smoother experience.

It shows. It doesn't tell.

Position Radar does not provide buy or sell recommendations. It helps investors separate trend signals from allocation decisions.
